The festival was held in Martyrs’ Square in downtown Tripoli on April 21, 2013 for three days and included a lyrical program, book signing and a children’s storyteller. The event attracted a great turnout compared to other cultural events organized in Libya after the revolution and was appraised by the United Nations and international diplomatic missions in attendance.
