Everything is disrupted now. Egypt’s economy is deteriorating, thus threatening its security. I and my medical team now receive cases with serious injuries often caused by political events.
The army is now threatening its people, and a group is threatening its army and people. I believe that everyone is mistaken and should be punished. We seek security and feel it is actually lost on the ground.

Cities, including Cairo, are being closed due to the curfew. Some have died and others have been injured because of it. I personally believe they are victims. They army is dealing with the people tremblingly: It does not know whether this is its people whom it fights for or its enemy whom it kills.
I reject the dispersion of the pro-Morsi sit-ins using force or of any peaceful sit-in by armed elements – the police, thugs, citizens and the army. I also reject the beating and injuring of any demonstrator. I believe that whether or not a sit-in is peaceful is soon revealed, and when weapons are used, there should be swift intervention to stop all aspects of vandalism.
I believe that Egypt will overcome the current crisis in all its wounds, blood and pain. What does matter here however is how long it is going to take before it overcomes it. The more time it takes, the weaker it becomes. Stability and security should be restored promptly so that people may get their life back.
I do not have high hopes for the new government. Most of its decisions are wrong because the liberal and youth revolutionary forces are not participants. We have heard that the Cairo governor has been nominated by the dissolved National Party Policies Committee, and that 19 generals occupy the positions of a governor or a deputy governor, which is rejected by the revolutionaries. This path is heading towards militarization again.
