Alaa al Darsi was born in Benghazi in 1986 where he studied law at the University of Benghazi and earned a certificate in international arbitration from the Arab Center for arbitration. He was worked as a journalist and as an editor at News of Tripoli newspaper and was also a contributor to a Dutch radio program.
