Elham Eidarous was born in Giza in 1980. She studied Political Science at Cairo University and International Human Rights Law at the American University in Cairo. She has translated economic and political texts and is the author of different articles about economic and social rights, and women's rights. As a student, she joined the Socialist Students Movement in Cairo University. Later, She joined the Egyptian Movement for Change. She was a member of the Socialist Popular Alliance Party from 2011 to 2013. Currently, she is one of the Four Legal Representatives of the Bread and Freedom Party, and Co-Coordinator of its Steering Committee.
